Terms of use
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Welcome to Ganiko. Ganiko is operated by OD Apps (“we”). Use of the app and the ganiko.app site is subject to these terms and to the privacy policy. Using the service means you accept them. The Hebrew version is the binding one.
The service
Ganiko connects early-childhood institutions (kindergartens, daycares, afternoon programs) with parents: photos with privacy for every child, daily reports, attendance, events, messages, weekly summaries and payment tracking. We provide the tool. The institution is responsible for the content it publishes and for its relationship with the parents.
Account and sign-in
- You sign in with a phone number and a one-time code. Keep your phone safe and don’t share codes.
- Use correct details and a phone number you control.
- An invitation for a child can be accepted only with the phone number it was sent to.
- You must be 18 or older to use the app. Children don’t use the app.
Institutions
- The institution is responsible for collecting the information it enters (including lists of children and phone numbers) lawfully, and for letting parents and staff know it uses Ganiko.
- The institution is responsible for photo and sharing consents, for staff permissions and for decisions about parents’ access, including in sensitive situations.
- Trial periods, prices and payment terms for institutions are set in the offer or agreement with the institution. An institution that didn’t renew may get limited access, and eventually its information is exported to it and deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Parents
- Photos and content you receive are for personal and family use. Don’t post on social networks or forward photos that show other children without their parents’ consent.
- The institution may limit photo downloads or add a watermark.
- You can change photo and sharing consents and the list of people authorized to pick up your child at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to:
- Post offensive, threatening, humiliating, sexual or unlawful content, or content that invades others’ privacy.
- Impersonate someone else, or try to access information that isn’t meant for you.
- Send advertising or spam.
- Disrupt the service, get around its security or collect information automatically.
We or the institution may remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend or block a user who breaks them.
Content and intellectual property
- Content uploaded by the institution and users (photos, messages, reports) belongs to them. You give us permission to use it only to run the service for you, for example to store it, show it to people who are allowed to see it and prepare a weekly summary draft from it.
- The Ganiko app, design, code and marks belong to us.
Availability and changes
- We work to keep the service available and working, but it’s provided as is, and there may be interruptions, errors or changes.
- We may change, add or remove features. We’ll announce a material change for the worse in the app in advance.
- Ganiko doesn’t replace the institution’s safety procedures. For example, attendance and pickup in the app don’t replace staff checking in person.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damage, or for content published by the institution or users. Our liability to an institution is limited to the amount paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending use
- You can stop using Ganiko and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account).
- An institution can stop according to its agreement with us.
- We may end the service for a user who breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update these terms from time to time and announce a material change in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district have exclusive jurisdiction.
